Our personality traits influence the way we learn and retain information not just in school or college but in everyday life. These inborn learning patterns also influence our performance in school or college based on the way a particular subject is taught.Awareness of learning typologies and creating a flexible learning environment can help the students who experience learning difficulties.

The Novolanguages method is all about matching learning typologies. Instructors conduct classes using a methodology suited to the learner. For groups or cohort classes all three typologies are included in proportion to the learners.
Visual learners have a vivid imagination. They retain what they see very easily. This means they prefer reading over listening and writing over speaking out loud. They remember information easily if it is presented visually in the form of graphics or diagrams.
Mind maps, charts, diagrams, pictoral depiction of concepts, flashcards and mnemonics
Auditory learners love talking. They may even engage in self talk. They may be inattentive in a class where they are expected to sit quitely and write. They learn best by listening to sounds.
Repeated listening of recorded lectures, sound out words, speak out the answer, discuss the learning material, paraphrase concepts. Such learners would excel in an inverted classroom approach.
They remember best what they have done and not what they have seen or spoken about. They may thus find it difficult to concentrate during sudio-visual presentations.
Walk while learning, take short breaks, use flashcards, writing, managing a personal dashboard. Such learners would thrive enacting, leading in a flipped classroom.
No. Visual, Auditory and Kinaesthetic are the primary learner types. They are further subdivided into 8, 10 12 and 16 categories.
Psychological research over ages has repeatedly indicated that all of us have inborn learning preferences. There is no one size fits all. We applied this concept to online learning.
All learners on our platform are welcome to take the free learning typology assessment. Instructors give assignments and learning material suited to the learner.
No. the MBTI is a different assessment. We only use the primary learning typologies.
ABSOLUTELY. Instructors on Novolanguages set assignments based on the learning typology of the student. All Digital courses include learning material suited to the three learner types.
